Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church is a member of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). As such, our confession of faith can be best understood by reading the official statements concerning the faith that saves us from the WELS documents included on this webpage. Briefly stated, we believe, teach, and confess that the Holy Scriptures are the inspired Word of God and without error in every facet and aspect. That God is Triune, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. That we are declared right and just in God’s eyes because of the saving work of Jesus Christ, which include His perfectly sinless life and His suffering and death on the cross. We believe in the efficacy of the Gospel in word and the sacraments of Holy Baptism and Holy Communion to produce and sustain the Christian faith. We believe in the resurrection of the dead in Christ and eternal life in heaven as our reward of grace, not by our works or merit, but as a free gift to mankind through our Redeemer Jesus Christ.
We exist to live to the glory of God and to proclaim His love and salvation to people throughout the world. In loving God we are also called to love the men, women and children of the world. In this way we reflect the risen Savior’s love for them. Everyone is welcome to join us in worship and instruction in God’s Word. If you should find yourself in need of spiritual counseling or just the benefit of a Christian friend feel free to call our Pastor at anytime and he will be glad to do all he can to share God’s peace with you in Christ’s love for us sinners. You are always welcome!
